What's consuming me in between meetings

2. Finishing 12 books (my reading goal for the year).
   This month I finished my reading goal, which was to read at least 12 books in a year. I read a lot of stuff (tweets and articles and graphic novels) but it’s been harder and harder to finish a book. I used to love reading but gradually ruining my brain on Twitter

   (not X) has made that nearly impossible so it’s nice to get back into it.
   
   I plan on reading more this year. I really want to start reading the things I had no interest in reading in college (Emma, to the lighthouse, some others too).

3. Cookie
   It’s been two months since we adopted Cookie and I’m finally starting to feel like the task of owning a dog is doable. I had a really bad experience with the last dog I tried to adopt and some other past dog-that-i-kinda-raised-related emotions that I had to work through. Cookie’s been helping with that. As I’m writing this he’s laying on my lap (and snoring) on the couch. He’s been a bit sad because Zach had to go back to school and I’m working all day, unable to play with him or let him bite me. I’m really looking forward to the weather getting cooler so I can take him to places with me and give him some much-needed outside time.
   

   

   

4. Getting my FFXIV crafter to level 90 culinarian.
   I’m very close to max leveling all of the crafter classes. I have culinarian and armorer left and I’ve been focusing on culinarian this weekend.

5. New Futurama episodes
   I just think TV shows, Futurama specifically, should stop coming back. Enough is enough. The episodes aren’t bad, but just like the moment’s passed, let things die.

6. Mullets
   I got a mullet because I wanted a dumb summer haircut but now I’m liking it a bit too much so might just keep it permanently…

7. Hello Kitty Island Adventures.
   For a game that’s named after a South Park joke, it’s good so far. I actually don’t know if I like it, but it’s scratching that animal-crossing itch I’ve been having recently.

8. Super Shy, New Jeans
   It’s just good, more songs should sample the PowerPuff Girls.

9. Half Twain the Jesse, Jessica Pratt
   For the lyric:
